t Grasmere, we approach dried floral as a stylistic and longer lasting alternative to fresh flowers utilizing freeze - and silica dried as well as air dried blossoms, foliages, pods and hydrangeas. We increased the palette of colors, shapes and textures and let commonplace and indistinct elements like statice, baby’s breath and eucalyptus be staples of the past.G
rasmere dried floral creates greater vibrancy and moves closer in appearance to fresh flowers without attempting to mimic fresh material. Dried floral has a life and a verve all of its own with movements less draping and swaying and with touches of perseverance. A placing of colors, serene and almost freed from time.

tylistically we approach flower arrangements from the British and French flower tradition but with a more movemented, less rigid approach than the French style and a touch of light-handedness borrowed from the Dutch.

A
strong textural mix and a delectable color scope are very much part of the British tradition. The French style leads the eye with a very sculpted geometric approach as in wheat- or lavender hedges, and it seems like the Dutch contours never stray far from the woods with a preference for mosses, vines and branches which appear intrinsic to Dutch pieces. Like a child first aware of its dramatic impulse, we play on all three of them.
