Mission and Policies

Our principal
mission as a business is to give individualized service to our customer, be
it as custom-designed dried floral or arrangements/wreaths in fresh material
or be it as carefully chosen accessories or a perfectly placed antique
accoutrement. Our focus is on the person who, after personal consultation,
is taking a Grasmere floral design or vintage object to his or her living
sphere and creates a increased personalized space with
our items.

Grasmere is
exclusively committed to end-consumer merchandising. We take considerable pride
in serving our
loyal retail clientele and do not wish to set them at a price disadvantage.
We do not wholesale any of
our products or give discounts to the trade.
Grasmere does not have
end-of-season price reductions or end-of-quarter sales.
Schedule permitting,
Grasmere offers on-site consultations for an hourly fee (plus travel & expenses
if outside Barrington, RI).
Grasmere has the
discretionary policy for selective antique objects to be taken off the premises by a
customer for a 24 hour period at no charge (a full price deposit will be taken).
All items taken by renters or
prospective buyers off the premises are the sole and unequivocal
responsibility and liability of the customer. Loss or damage of item means
that a sale of the item has been completed.
