   We at Grasmere understand the power that the Internet holds for changing people's lives, bringing knowledge and beauty to their homes expanding their horizons.  All these benefits are at risk if people are concerned about their personal privacy. We at Grasmere take your privacy very seriously. We want you to feel at home, safe and supported on our website.

       Our privacy policy is to respect your privacy unequivocally.

   Any personally identifiable information* you share with us will be used only for purposes of aiding (consumer-side initiated) communication and processing your transaction. We will not give (transfer in any way), sell or rent your name, e-mail address, credit card information, mailing address, purchasing history or any other personally identifiable fact we learn about you to a third party. Ever.

   You also have my guarantee that Grasmere neither collects any information about you while you are on our site, nor do we probe your computer in anyway shape or form while you are on our site. We do not collect domain name addresses or e-mail addresses. We do not track your browsing history. We do not track where you came from and where you are going once you leave the Grasmere-The-Shop website.

  Grasmere The Shop has a strict no-cookie policy. (A cookie is a piece of information stored by a site you visit in the browser of your computer). No cookies will be placed in your machine while you are on Grasmere The Shop site.

   Grasmere has also a no-spam policy. We will not contact you with bulk advertisement via e-mail. We will only e-mail you if a contact has been explicitly requested or is absolutely necessary to complete a prior transaction. Please contact us immediately if you think that you have been contacted erroneously.

    We do not copy addresses of checks or credit card receipts given to us at Grasmere or Grasmere The Shop for commercial mailings. You will only receive selective mail from Grasmere if you have written yourself expressly into the mailing list. (to remove yourself from that list, please, contact us)

    The web-server hosting our site has a anti-virus program scanning all systems periodically for malicious computer viruses.

  Grasmere will not engage in advertisement on our web pages unless the party is directly linked to Grasmere as an immediate colleague in the field (i.e. caterer, photographer, musician ).

  We pledge, furthermore, that there will be no material, in word, image or sound, displayed or made available through links on Grasmere The Shop website which is unethical, illegal or offensive in nature.

   We have put significant effort into ensuring the safety of your personal information and your computer's integrity.  No one but the webmaster will handle personal identifiable information* submitted to our website.
