"All the elements here come together naturally for presentation," says designer Beth Siqueland from Grasmere Floral Shop in Barrington. Yellow-tipped cypress, seeded eucalyptus, gilded ivy, and arborvitae.., the list alone makes us swoon. Siqueland insists that "anyone with capable hands and access to a yard" can work the same seasonal magic. Of course, she has thought to hang a double wreath, and to wrap the railings so that this whole Providence doorway — with its topiary guardians — becomes a landscape of welcome, studded with jewel-like fruit, and very green.
