These baskets are made from sturdy grapevine and should last in the outdoors for several seasons. Lined with Canadian sheet moss or Finnish reindeer moss, these baskets represent exquisite alternatives to metal wall baskets. The created tightly woven round shape holds a more classic look than their rustic cousins.
Wreath baskets are available in three sizes, planted-up or unplanted (15 inch, 18 inch & 24 inch). The basket "pouch" itself has been particularly enlarged for Grasmere to accommodate sizable plantings which can thrive in sunny locations with normal watering habits.

Due to their lesser weight than found in comparable metal wall hanging containers, grapevine baskets do well on front doors - even glass doors - and garden gates. No additional treatment for the grapevine itself is needed but emptying them out after the season to preserve the vine from the excess moisture of fall and winter.
